2019 Romantic Valentine’s Day Soiree

Sold Out Event with many on the Waiting list too! It was an evening where passion met seduction on Valentines Day 2019 at the Louisiana Cajun Mansion Bed and Breakfast. Thirty lucky Couples enjoyed our first Over-The-Top Romantic 4 Course plated Dinner with Wine Pairing and nothing was spared in this spectacular event. Candle light, romantic music, fine dining, wine pairing, appetizers and even a photographer to capture memories of the night.

Chef Alexis with BonTemp Grill prepared a succulent French dinner while Sommelier Glenn LeBlanc paired each course with the perfect wines.

4 Course Dinner Menu:

SOUP

1st Course – Roasted Butternut Squash & Tasso Bisque with Sage Biscotti

2nd Course – Apple, Tabasco Candied Pecan & Baby Green Salad with Honey Chipotle Vin & Bacon Bagel Croutons

3rd Course – Chateaubriand Steak & Sweet Potatoe Crisp served with Batonette Winter Vegetables and Potatoes Ana

4th Course – Passion Fruit Crepe Souffle

Everyone enjoyed a full 5 ounce glass of special French Wine for each course and during the social French champagne & wines were featured. Sommelier Glenn LeBlanc gave details about each wine and provided expert knowledge on why it was paired perfectly with each course.

Imagine this… As you walk down the meandering walkway to the front door there are romantic tiki torches paving the way to your much anticipated romantic experience. The door opens and you and your sweetheart are greeted by a beautiful smile and she hands a long stem red rose for him to give to his sweetheart. A beautiful glass of rose champagne is handed to each of you as you step closer into the main room.

Violins were playing in the background, candles were lite around the room with fresh flowers on the tables. You couldn’t help but feel that you were in the right place on Valentines Day with your sweetheart. It was an awesome evening of decadent delights which were scheduled with pass around appetizers, chocolate covered strawberries, cheese and fruit.

Chef Alexis – While her studies were at the Texas Culinary Academy in Austin Texas, she also trained in many restaurants in New York. Chef Alexis has been with BonTemp Grill since inception and is noted for her succulent French Dishes. She specializes in French Culinary and she surely knocked it out the park with her menu selections

Sommelier Glenn LeBlanc – Glenn has been in the wine business for over 30 years and has evaluated many vineyards both in the US and also overseas.

Janeen Elaine with Janeen Elaine Photography waited in the background while each couple decided to take their picture. Our guests took advantage of capturing their evening with beautiful professional photography.

Joel Martinez with Vermilion Strings created the ambiance with his violin that the Valentines Day Soiree demanded! His music was sophisticated, romantic and beautiful. Vermilion Strings can provide one musician, a chamber orchestra, and everything in-between (duo, trio, quartet, etc.). Most important, Joels music complimented our occasion exactly the way we envision it.

Paula Earle with Posies By Paulie supplied the beautiful candle lit fresh floral arrangements in the center of each table. Paula used her own creativity to make the perfect arrangement for the occasion. Her Flowers made an emotional impact on the event and without a doubt, you knew you were at an upscale event.
