Experience the Excitement of seeing Alligators and other Wildlife During a Swamp Tour and the Beauty of the quaint town of Breaux Bridge.  Then off to the Unique Historic Village of  Vermilionville in Lafayette.

We know it's very stressful when planning a vacation and going to an area that you know nothing about.  At the Louisiana Cajun Mansion Bed and Breakfast, we understand and we want you to get the most out of your stay with us.

Sandra Booher, your Inn Keeper is a Cajun and she has grown up in this area.  She's literally been to everyplace of interest and can help you organize your day with suggestions.

You'll leave the Mansion after your breakfast and drive directly to Breaux Bridge.

BREAUX BRIDGE

This trip takes you to the quaint town of Breaux Bridge where you'll begin your day with an exciting Swamp Tour.  There are several Swamp Tours in the area to chose from.  In addition to Swamp Tours, you also have the option to chose Canoeing, Kayaking or taking an Air boat Tour.

There are  lots of Cypress Trees and Wildlife in the area and you'll never know what you'll see.  It's always best to do your tour earlier in the morning rather than later in the day; you see more wildlife that way.

After your Swamp tour, you'll want to visit the many Antique Shops, Museums and Flea Markets all located in downtown Breaux Bridge.  If you get thirsty, there are plenty of places to just walk in and order something to drink.

We'll take you where locals go for lunch; it's called Chez Jacqueline Restaurant.  Even though the sign says Fine Dining, it's a good ole Cajun Restaurant that you don't want to miss.

LAFAYETTE - Then back to Lafayette later in the day to visit a 32 acre living history museum and folklife park called Vermilionville.
