Mallette Casino Night Retirement Party

A Casino Night Retirement Party is a great way to throw a celebration!  And that is exactly what the Mallettes did to celebrate their retirement.  Not only did they get to spend quality time with their family and friends, they got to celebrate big time too.  Family and Friends from all over came to share this event with the Mallettes.  People came from out of state, out of town, friends from their church and friends from work all came.  What a great group of people.

2016-06-11 21.35.36The Casino Night weekend party began on Friday when their children and Tom’s Sister and her husband drove in from Texas and stayed at the Louisiana Cajun Mansion Bed and Breakfast with Tom and Barbara.  There was so much going on and the couple just needed a little bit of rest and relaxation.  Friday night Tom and Barbara booked a Cajun Grilling Dinner on the Patio for the family.  There were lots of laughs, good conversations and of course lots of love.

The Friday night Grilling Dinner on the Patio ended and everyone went to bed at the Mansion with anticipation of what was coming the following night.  As part of making their Saturday morning relaxing, their children planned an in-house couples massage for the couple.  The couples massages at the Mansion is not like other couple massages, this actually becomes a two our event from getting their feet massaged in a hot bath soak, getting hot therapeutic wraps around their necks, cold facial compresses, infused water and chocolate covered strawberries!

There was a lot going on and a lot of preparation at the Mansion the day of the Casino Night party.   Between the Las Vegas Showgirl servers, Casino game table guys, the caterers, the bar tenders, and the decorations going up, there was a lot of activity!  Heck…  it looked like the party had already started.  But the best was yet to come later that night.  Two golf carts shuttled guests from the parking area to the front door most of the night and Las Vegas type of music was blasting outside.  You didn’t have to wonder if you was at the right place for sure!

Frank Sinatra music was playing in the main living room where we had two casino tables; more party type music was playing on the patio area where two other casino tables were.  Lots of dice, balloons and the decorations were right on!  Barbara and Tom came out to join their guests and they looked stunning!  I guess you could say they cleaned up real good!  SMILE!  About 65 guests showed up and most everyone invited attended; what a fabulous turn out.  That just goes to show you that this couple is loved by a lot of people.

Many Thanks goes out to Amanda Judice for coordinating this event for the Mallettes.  If anyone is interested in planning a Casino Night party, contact the Louisiana Cajun Mansion at 337-453-5606 for details.
